Full Bio:

A self-described “human Venn diagram” Christina Wallace has crafted a career at the intersection of business, technology, and the arts. She is a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School where she teaches entrepreneurship and marketing. Concurrently, Christina is a 5x TONY-nominated Broadway producer through Nothing Ventured Productions and an active angel investor through Phi Factor Capital. She is the author of The Portfolio Life, (Hachette, 2023) and co-author of New to Big (Penguin Random House, 2019).

Before joining the HBS faculty, Christina spent a decade as an entrepreneur, building businesses in fashion, media, and education, including an edtech venture inside the American Museum of Natural History focused on getting more girls into STEM. She was also, briefly, a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and began her career in arts management at the Metropolitan Opera. Christina’s work helps people and organizations navigate disruption, build resilient careers, and create lives that are flexible, fulfiling, and sustainable. 

Christina is a globally recognized speaker and educator, delivering keynotes and workshops in Ireland, Denmark, Mexico, Canada, China, Taiwan, India, and more. Her talks explore everything from entrepreneurship and corporate innovation in the age of AI to portfolio-life design and narrative leadership through storytelling. She even had one humorous talk go viral when her TED Talk on navigating online dating garnered nearly 3 million views. Mashable called her one of “44 Female Founders to Know” and Refinery29 named her one of the "Most Powerful Women in NYC Tech." She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Forbes, Inc, Fast Company, Quartz, Elle, and Marie Claire among others.

She graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy as a piano major and holds undergraduate degrees in mathematics and theater studies from Emory University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In her free time she sings with the Back Bay Chorale and is a mediocre endurance athlete. She lives with her husband and their two children in Cambridge.

A serial entrepreneur, Christina built businesses in ecommerce, edtech, and media before joining the faculty at Harvard. In her free time, she sings with the Back Bay Chorale and is a mediocre endurance athlete. She lives in Cambridge with her husband and their two children.
